3M Window Film Specifier Guide
Shore Tint & More is a 3M Authorized Window Film Dealer. Product selection still starts with the building: dealer status does not make every film category a 3M system or establish a project performance rating.
Selection workflow
Move from the objective to a documented product
Step 1
Identify the glazing
Record glass type, coatings, insulated or laminated construction, condition and frame details. Ask which compatibility questions require manufacturer review.
Step 2
Compare the right data
Request visible transmission, solar and reflectance data for comparable glazing. Building utility savings, comfort and payback are separate from product test figures.
Step 3
Review the complete security detail
The published Seaford school record includes 3M Impact Protection Attachment. That detail must not be copied indiscriminately: the proposed film, glass, frame and attachment need project-specific evidence.
Step 4
Approve appearance and warranty terms
Review an installed sample and the written product warranty. Clarify installer workmanship coverage, registration, care instructions and any glazing-related exclusions separately.

Duck Creek’s published exterior clerestory scope identifies an XPEL product, not 3M. Brand names and product roles should stay specific to the documented scope.
